After graduating with a Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture I worked both domestically and internationally for years learning the ropes of design at a multitude of levels.  It was by accident that I stumbled my way into floral design when asked to provide flowers for friends’ weddings.  It was then that I realized the young child that had eagerly followed in her father’s shadow, a creative and talented man who bred ornamental cut flowers and worked within the floral industry, was going to make a career out of a passion she had held onto for so many years.

I was driven to develop a business that focused on seeking the beauty in hidden details, hence the name Hide and Seek Design; this is why I love weddings.  They are all about the the details; florals are these details, which should never be an afterthought .   Florals represent identity and beauty which is so important when showcasing a couple on the most important day of their lives.  This is why I think of myself as a floral stylist.  I style florals for an event based upon the identity and personality of a couple.
